The Merill Childcare Centre is run by the Foundation for Educational Services (EFF). FES operates 13 childcare centres across Malta. The Foundation for Educational Services (EFF) currently operates thirteen government-subsidised childcare centres across Malta. Child care centres provide care to babies and young children aged between three months and three years. All child care centres run by the EFF are registered with the Department of Quality Standards in Education and follow national Standards for Child Care Facilities (2006). Operating times are from 07:30 to 16:00.
All children are offered a personalised quality care service. When working in partnership with primary caregivers, every child has the power to develop a learning life in an environment of pleasure, care and stimulation. Parents are offered the opportunity to invest in their children's future through positive learning opportunities, social experiences and personal empowerment.
